Sensory System

Sensory System begins by capturing the abstract forms of the world around us. This form is created by taking a photograph and going through a digital process. I interpret these pieces as fragments of the senses that represent the basic components of an invisible sensory network. I also build a sensory system by connecting these fragments to visually express sensory experiences.

 

This work starts from the idea that sensory experiences are not passive but active. I explore how tactile, visual, and spatial perceptions are connected to form sensory memory within the body.
